zoya:
Speaking as a Nirvanaologist, allow me to introduce this clip:
Nirvana was signed to Sub Pop, but felt they’d promoted Bleach poorly and wanted off the label, so DGC (subsidiary of Geffen, now part of Universal) bought out their contract for the release of Nevermind. “In Bloom” was the last single off the album in 1992, with the 60s-variety-show video we all know and love, but because it was an old track that had been around during the Bleach days, there’s also this awesome “Check out these filters!!” version with the band chilling at South Street Seaport, like no one ever does.
